Antique brass is a 'living' finish, which means it’ll react to its environment. The oil from your hands, the moisture in the room, even the air around it will cause it to darken over time.
You can use our restoration kit to restart the aging process and return the finish to its original look (but please don't use it on our bronze or polished nickel finishes).
How to use:
- If possible, remove the product from its installed location.
- Lightly rub the brass polish onto the metal surface of the product in small circles until the paste turns dark.
- Gently wipe the paste off and buff until clean.
- Once clean, use the abrasive pad to mattify the surface.
- When you’re satisfied with the finish, use a clean part of the cloth to apply the wax to the brass. Buff until the surface is completely and evenly covered.

Although some of our hardware products can be installed by anyone proficient at DIY, we recommend that our door handles be installed by a qualified builder or carpenter.
Yes, our door handles are suitable for interior and exterior doors.
We sell all our door handles and knobs in pairs, except for our recessed door handles which are sold individually.
Our sprung handles come with a tubular latch. Our unsprung handles don’t come with one, but you can pair them with our passage tubular latch in bronze, antique brass, and polished nickel.
If you opt for our unsprung handles, a strong latch will work best with our lever handles to prevent drooping. You can use a lighter latch with our knobs to ensure they're easy to turn.
Our shelf brackets are all sold individually.
They'll support 85lb per bracket.
No, all our furniture handle designs are sold individually.
