When installed behind our retractive toggle and rocker switches, our smart in-line dimmer module will let you control your lights using your smartphone, tablet, or voice.
As well as remote dimming and switching, you can set 'scenes' to adjust the warmth and brightness of one or more of your lights. You can also set automations to turn lights on or off for a fixed duration depending on the time of day.
It works with both iOS and Android and doesn’t require third-party apps or smart bulbs – all you need is a smart home hub of your choice.
And if you ever want to control your light directly at the switch, that’s fine too. Physical and remote dimming and switching will work in harmony.

Our clear switches and outlets come with backing paper that you can either paint, or use as a wallpaper template. When you're happy with your chosen look, secure the clear front plate over the backing paper to conceal the wires.

A retractive switch flicks back into the top 'off' position when you let go. A center retractive switch flicks back to the center 'off' position when you let go. It can be pressed up or down to make two separate connections.
When used with one of our in-line dimmer modules, a short press will turn the light on and off. A press and hold will dim and brighten the light.
Both versions must be used with one in-line dimmer module per circuit.
Four-way switches need to be used when three or more switches are required to control the same light. Three-way switches are used at the start and end of the circuit, and one or more four-way switches are added to the middle of the circuit.
Multiple three-way dimmer modules can't be used to control the same light. However, a three-way dimmer can be combined with three-way or four-way switches to control the light from multiple locations.
Retractive and center retractive toggles/rockers can be used for a multiple point dimming circuit when used with an in-line dimmer module (one per circuit).
All our dimmers have been engineered with anti-flicker technology. If you're experiencing flickering, please follow our mode setting instructions.
We ship the components and front plates separately to protect the plates before installation. This approach allows electricians to install the switches and outlets without having to disassemble each one too.
Our Grove collection is designed to be easy to retrofit. The switches and outlets will work with your existing old and new work boxes, but you can also use ours if you’re adding to your setup.
The switches and outlets in our Kew collection only work with new work boxes that are recessed into the wall. You can use our new work boxes for this, but if a different new work box is already recessed into the wall, that’s fine to use too.
